Apples on offer
It has been a bumper year for Apples and The Grudgings have many varieties - eaters and cookers that are ready now. Please phone Jean on 01454 417321 if you would like to pick or collect some.
New Berkeley Castle opens
Charles Berkeley, heir to 12th Century Berkeley Castle, has officially opened a new castle that has sprung up in Berkeley, at Cattle Country, the popular attraction just down the road from the original Norman fortress. Although made of wood and not stone, the new castle is bound to be a hit with young visitors.

May we borrow your scales?
Cromhall Horticultural Society's committee is hoping someone, maybe a keen fisherman, could lend their hanging scales for the afternoon of the Flower Show on Saturday September 6th. It would be used for weighing potatoes in the children's potato growing competition. If you can help, please call Steve Aston on 299969.
Buy bulbs and help Cromhall
If you're buying tulip bulbs, you could help boost the funds for Cromhall's Flower Show at the same time.
Simply Tulips's new 2008 catalogue is now available. Click below to visit Cromhall Horticultural Society's page and find out more.
