Genealogy and Family History

The Cromhall Archive

A new project on the site is the Cromhall archive, which aims to become a large on-line collection of old photographs, maps, documents and other items of interest about Cromhall local history and local family history, for all to explore and enjoy. The growing collection of headstone photographs and transcriptions may be of particular use to family history hunters.

The following pages and sites may also be useful if your family history research is centred on Cromhall:

We have photos and a transcription of the War Memorial, which is located in the grounds of St. Andrew's Church.

The Wotton Family History site has further information on some names appearing on the War Memorial.

GENUKI's Cromhall page links to much useful information, such as the 1851 Census for Cromhall, and wills going back as far as the 1500s.

There's lots of information on the Genealogy of the Cotswolds & Surrounds website.
