Cromhall Flower Show 2010
Cromhall's 64th Annual Flower Show and Village Fayre will take place on Saturday 4th September, from 2pm on the St Andrew's School playing field.
Cromhall's Flower Show is an open show, so entries are always welcome from neighbouring villages and further afield.
There's something for everyone to try, from "the brightest flower in my garden" to "4 rock cakes (men only)".

2010's entertainers:
Sharpness Silver Band
The original Sharpness Temperance Band was formed in 1900, but failed as too many members enjoyed a tipple and were asked to leave! A second band flourished after World War One, but was closed when World War Two broke out.
The current band began in 1970 with a handful of children and teenagers and is still going strong.
The Band meets in Slimbridge once a week, and members play purely for pleasure.
The Hotwell Howlers
The Hotwell Howlers are a group of friends who met through a mutual interest in folk music.
They have been playing and singing together for many years, and became known as the Hotwells Howlers because they rehearse in the ‘Nova Scotia’ pub in Hotwells, not because of their manner of performance!
The Hotwell Howlers sing and play mostly English traditional folk music. A few more modern songs in the idiom have crept in, and a couple of hymns from the West gallery tradition of village quires are sung for the enjoyment of four-part harmony!
Visit the Hotwell Howlers website for more information.
