The Tiler of Gloucester
7pm, Great Hall, Berkeley Castle

A FREE play. In a jam-packed tour of Gloucestershire, the Fairgame theatre company’s performances of The Tiler of Gloucester will be drawing inspiration from the floods which devastated the county this summer – in what promises to be a fast moving, exciting and humorous show suitable for the whole family.

As part of the celebrations of Gloucestershire’s 1000th anniversary, throughout 2007 Fairgame have been busy hosting a series of workshops based on different aspects of the county’s fascinating history. And now, this wealth of stories which came about through the theatre company’s work has gone on to inform and inspire the touring show The Tiler of Gloucester.

Using the recent floods as a theme for the play, The Tiler of Gloucester will see two acts performed by five actors and an original live music score will also performed.
