Nowzad: A talk in aid of animal victims of war by Sergeant Pen Farthing

Nowzad is the charity set up in 2007 to relieve the suffering of animals in Afghanistan and Iraq, predominantly dogs, cats and donkeys. Today the charity is operating at full capacity, its core work is assisting with the rescue of companion animals and promoting animal welfare.
Pen Farthing, the charity’s founder, served with the Royal Marines in Afghanistan. He will give a talk with a slideshow that illustrates this truly inspirational endeavour.

Tickets £6. All proceeds to Nowzad.
