You are all invited to share in the ‘Ride and Stride’ event, either by walking some or all of a circular walk around the Benefice. It is expected that most people will only wish to do part of the walk. If someone in each church would collect names of those wishing to be part of the day, together with details of which section they will walk and let either Val or myself know this will help with our planning. There are sponsor forms for those who would like them, otherwise just come and enjoy the walk and meet friends. The complete walk is around 13.5 miles but nearer the day approximate times will be given for arrival at each church to enable people to do any section they wish. Maps are available from Ann Greenhalgh or Val Johnson.

It is proposed that we leave Cromhall Shop car park at 10am and walk to St Leonard’s Church, Tortworth, where morning refreshments will be available. The route will then take us to St George’s Church in Falfield and on to St Oswald’s church in Rockhampton. Packed lunches will be enjoyed at some point along the way. Rockhampton may be too far? Let me know if you can think of a suitable place for lunch between Falfield and Rockhampton. Even if you are not walking, you could join us for lunch. Tea will be provided at St James, Tytherington before we complete the last stretch of the walk to St Andrew’s, Cromhall.
