The meeting will review the past year, which has involved schoolchildren growing potatoes, a village bulb planting scheme, and the first weather-related cancellation of the Flower Show in 63 years, and will look ahead to the coming year, during which more activities are planned, including a talk on the highly fashionable topic of growing vegetables.
