Latest News

Cromhall Parish Hall has recently installed new double glazed windows at a cost of over £11,500.

£10,000 came from the lotteries fund, £1000 from South Gloucestershire and the rest from hall funds. Without this funding it would have been virtually impossible to have made the improvements and we are very grateful to have received this money.

We are now looking at updating the heating and are currently in consultation with specialist energy companies at what our options are and what costs will be involved. We have been informed that funding for these types of projects is now becoming very scarce so we may not be able to be as ‘green’ as we had hoped.

We are also looking at replacing the old wooden entrance door to the hall and we would welcome quotes from local carpenters to make a bespoke door and frame. Please contact Kate Bryant 01454 294656 or email for more details.

About the Hall

We're lucky in Cromhall to have a well-equipped and maintained village hall, available for everyone to use

There's the Mulberry Tree kindergarten in the day every week during term time, yoga classes Monday and Tuesday evenings, Parish Council the second Wednesday of the month, Whist Drive every Friday (except the last Friday of each month), T@3 on a Thursday afternoon once a month, which leaves Thursday evenings free every week and some Wednesday evenings.

Hiring the Hall

The hall can be hired for village associations or private parties, although not teenage parties.

We have a well-appointed kitchen with crockery and cutlery for 80 people, fridge, oven and warming cupboard and also a disabled toilet facility.

The cost of hiring the hall varies according to your needs, but there are cheaper rates for village residents.

It's available at various times of day, but there are various standard bookings for village associations, so please call to see if it's free when you want it.

Join the committee

The Hall is run by the Cromhall Parish Hall and Recreation Trust (Registered Charity Number 287244).

We have a small number of people who manage the hall and we would welcome new committee members. We meet on average 4 times a year - see the calendar for details.
