We are making a sensory garden with the children of St. Andrew's School.

This is to be in the corner of the playing field and we are planning on number of raised beds for each of the year groups, a pond to encourage wildlife, wind chimes, bird feeders and to give different textures and sounds to walk on various sized pebbles and stones.

We have lots of enthusiastic children and parents, but lack the following; tools of all sorts that are not too heavy, timber for raised beds, a wheel barrow, compost bin, good sound small shed, non slip paving slabs, the pebbles etc. and after-Easter plants.

If you could help in anyway please would you get in touch with Zena on or 01454 294324 or give Caroline Massey (School Secretary) a call on 01454 294498 giving her details of anything you can offer.

Thank you so much, it will be a wonderful opportunity for our children to learn about nature, sustainability and simply how their food grows. Hilary Legg

About St Andrew's School

We are a small village school serving the community of Cromhall and the surrounding area.

Providing a happy, caring environment for your child to learn in is our priority.

Children, staff and parents work very hard to ensure that the school is an important part of the local community, and there will be lots of opportunities for you to become involved not only in your child's education but also in aspects of village life.

The school has a website featuring a tour of the school and church, plus news and a calendar.
